Send us your Photos of your PMC Dolls!

Every so often we get photographs and letters from devoted PMC doll fans that tell us about their collection of Precious Moments Company dolls.

Everyone in the office loves to read just why our dolls are so special to them, which doll is their favorite, how they display their dolls, why they love giving them as gifts, or a special story they share in the letter.  We are sure that other doll collector's would love to see and read about them as well, so we'd love to hear from YOU!! Grab your camera, take some photos of you with your doll collection or your favorite doll, and send them to us.

You can send your photos and story to:

Precious Moments Company, Inc.
Attn: Tell Us About Your Collection
P.O. Box 802

Or if you have a digital camera or scanner, you can e-mail the images and story to us at information@pmcdolls.com.  Good Luck to all that enter!

My name is Tina Steele.  I am a schoolteacher from Eastern Kentucky, and a big collector of the Precious Moments dolls.  I have been collecting them since 1994.  These dolls are very dear to me, and each one seems to bring back a certain memory, or reminds me of a part of myself, or my life.  My parents started buying me dolls when I was around age 12 or 14, and the collection started with a couple of the cloth dolls (Amy & Violet) and the Pink Missy.

My favorite dolls are the Songs of the Spirit Collection.  I have them altogether with the classic doll, Gloria, and I tell everyone, as I play the piano, that I have an "Angel Band" with me!  I enjoy collecting the older dolls mostly, but I am starting to get into the new look of the dolls, and especially the Precious Collection.  Thank you so much, Sam Butcher, and the Precious Moments Company.

My name is Ana Sofia, I am 13 years old and I live in Guatemala, I hope you like my picture with all my PM dolls.  I don't have any favorite because I just love them all.  I've been collecting them since 1999 as well as miniatures and other items.  My collection just keeps growing.  I would like to thank Sam Butcher for creating such a precious doll; they are my dream come true and inspire me to be nice to other people as they are to me.

With all my precious love, Ana Sofia.

My name is Ana Paola, I am 12 years old, I love all Precious Moments dolls, I am collecting them since 1999, and I hope someday I will have my room full of them.  I also collect miniature figurines, stationeries, and all kind of PM items.  I love to share with my friends the happiness they give me.

My best regards to all Precious Moments collectors !!

In  memory  of  Stacey  Ashley  ...  Beautifying  the  Heavens

I am the proud owner of one of your Precious Moments Angel Dolls, named Stacey.  My husband purchased this angel doll because of a very unfortunate tragedy in our family. My oldest daughter was murdered in December of 1997, her name is Stacey and she loved all the Precious Moments dolls.  She collected as many as she could in her short life time.  She left behind a four month old son, who we have adopted.  I was on your web site and could not believe what I saw when I was looking through the angel collection, and saw your Stacey doll. The Stacey doll said Stacey was beautifying the heavens and an angel on earth.  When my husband surprised me on Christmas morning with the Stacey doll, Bryan (her son, 5 years  old now) opened the box and said out loud My Mommy Angel.  It is very hard to get through this awful tragedy but your Precious Moments Collection always seems to help. Thank you so very much for making the Stacey Angel Doll.  I will treasure her always.  I would someday like to visit The Precious Moments in Carthage Mo.  Sam Butcher has helped me out a lot with his collection.  I have a lot of his porcelain collection.

I will never be able to thank you enough.    Sincerely,  Sandra & Bryan Ashley.

Coming soon in May 2002 ... stay tuned! Kristi & Roger Schult in their younger years!

Every now and then we run across photos that inspire us to create special dolls in honor of someone.  The photo on the right is of Kristi & Roger Schult a few years back (ok several) when they were both in the military.  Kristi maintains PMC's website and wears many different "hats":  wife, mother of 3, creator and web-master of www.preciousmomentscommunity.com, and has a full-time job to boot!  Kristi sent us this photo several months ago and inspired us to create these adorable 9" dolls in honor of our service men and women who risk their lives everyday to protect the freedom that we enjoy in America.  Roger is still in the military and their family has made many sacrifices through the years, including living overseas for over 17 years.  We salute all of our brave military personnel with these new dolls that will be released in May 2002.

My name is Ruth Anne Adams.  I already have a large collection of Precious Moments dolls, but when I saw Laylee I knew I just had to have her.  She inspired me to re-do my master bath in the ladybug theme and I am so happy with the way that it looks.  All of my dolls make me smile because they are so precious.  I look forward to more dolls like the Precious Collection because they are so beautiful and unique.

My name is Debby Ballard and I’ve been collecting PMC Dolls for over 15 years.  I currently have over 125 dolls in my collection.  My favorite doll is Ozark Annie, which happens to be my first doll.

Annie is very special for several reasons.  First of all she’s reminds of my Appalachian heritage, second she’s a redhead like me and last but not least she brings back some very fond memories from my childhood.  My grandparents had a 200-acre farm and every summer I spent time on the farm helping them in their garden.    Before being allowed to work in the garden, I can remember my grandma dressing me in an outfit very similar to Annie’s, complete with bonnet to hold the hot sun at bay.  Even though the farm has since been sold, I can always look at Annie and remember very happy times from my childhood.

Thanks for the wonderful memories PMC!

I wanted to send you a photo of my daughter Madison.  She loves the Gabby doll you created in The Precious Collection and enjoys playing dress up with her.  Madison even had her 4th birthday party with Gabby and all of the girls at the party had a wonderful time.  Here is a photo of her with Gabby, and another of her birthday party where everyone dressed up like Gabby.
Thanks for creating Gabby - my daughter will cherish her for years to come.         Janna Watts

Hi, my name is Sharon Dean. I have been collecting Precious Moments Dolls for 7 years. I have 210 dolls and I am always so excited to add more and more to my collection! My Mom's birthday is in July and she just loves Ruby everything! For that I¹ve always wanted the Ruby Doll. It is Mom's favorite doll in the PM line too. Christmas of 1999, my Mom surprised me with a Ruby Doll! I was so excited I cried for hours!  Ruby was so beautiful - just like my Mom!!

In July 2001 at the PM Chapel Licensee Event, I got to meet Sam B for the first time! I was so blessed that day too! I was so nervous the whole time waiting in line for him to sign my item. Yep, Ruby was right there with me! She was going to have another meaningful memory for me! I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world that day! Sam is such a sweet, dear man - thank you for creating Ruby!

Sam also surprised me with a group photo he wanted to take with me and my Ruby. He brought Mr. and Mrs. Dy from the Philippines up with us for our group picture! I knew then I was the luckiest girl in the world! That is a trip that I will treasure forever! Now my Ruby Doll has a very special place in my heart for many reasons!  Ruby:  Meaning of Love and Friendship for My Family and Friends!

Editor's note:
Mr. & Mrs. Dy are the owner's of Sandy Corporation, the doll company that produces PMC's dolls in the Philippines.  PMC and the Dy's have a wonderful relationship for which we are very grateful.  They enable us to have Sam Butcher's Precious Moments artwork come to life in the many beautiful dolls they have created for PMC through the years.  For that, all of us at PMC are eternally grateful.
